Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with a minimum of 1 year of experience and ARRT CT certification for a hospital-based imaging position.

Details

• Hospital setting within Radiology/Cardiology CT department
• Patient population includes pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients with neonatal and infant experience preferred
• Work across outpatient, inpatient, ED, and ICU settings with NICU and PICU experience preferred
• Utilizes PACS system and administers contrast media
• Biopsies and IV starts preferred
• 3x12 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Saturday through Monday schedule
• May float to other campuses within the health system as needed

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience required
• Current BLS and ARRT CT certification required
• License required if applicable
• Epic EMR experience required
• Experience with abdomen and pelvis CT, with and without contrast, required
• Chest and head/neck CT experience required
• Cervical, lumbar, thoracic, and musculoskeletal trauma imaging experience required
• Level I Trauma and pediatric acute care experience preferred
• Experience with GE and Siemens equipment preferred
• Preparation and administration of contrast media required
• Peripheral IV starts preferred
• Experience with special procedures such as aspirations, biopsies, brain perfusion, CT arthrography, myelography, transplant studies, and vascular CTA preferred
• Calcium scoring/cardiac CT experience preferred
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam with up to two attempts allowed
• Valid driver's license required for address verification

• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Teaching hospital and community hospital experience preferred
• Level I Trauma center experience preferred
• Candidates should be prepared to adhere to strict scheduling with zero tolerance for tardiness or unexcused absences
• Non-billable orientation modules averaging 2-4 hours will be required, with hours varying by unit
