Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with ARRT(CT) certification and 3+ years of acute hospital experience for a 13-week travel assignment.
Details
- Hospital-based Diagnostic Imaging department
- 13-week contract assignment
- 10-hour varied shifts
- No call requirements
- Meditech EMR experience preferred
- Canon/Toshiba CT units and Vitrea workstation experience preferred
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience required, including at least 2 years in an acute hospital setting
- Current ARRT(CT) certification required
- Current BLS certification required
- Current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license required by start of assignment; license required if applicable
- Must be able to scan per radiologist protocols and perform routine CT scans independently without supervision
- Experience with venipuncture preferred
- Experience with MIP, MPR, and 3D imaging preferred
- Experience with procedures such as biopsies or drainages preferred
- Experience with vascular or cardiac imaging, trauma, or stroke imaging is a plus
- Proof of flu vaccination or approved exception required prior to contract start
Additional Information
- Must report to Employee Health 48-72 hours prior to assignment start for clearance appointment
- No RTO will be granted during the first 13 weeks of the contract
- Function independently performing CT scans per radiologist protocols
