Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a pediatric hospital night shift position requiring a permanent Illinois RRT license and prior travel experience.
Details
- Respiratory Therapy department within a children's hospital setting
- 12-hour night shift schedule at 36 hours per week
- 13-week contract assignment
Requirements
- Permanent Illinois RRT license required upon consideration (no EO, temp, or pending license accepted) - license required if applicable
- Current COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required
- Minimum of 2 professional references, with at least 1 from within the past year
- Prior travel assignment experience required
Additional Information
- Provide respiratory therapy care within a pediatric hospital environment
- Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travelers, except for NICU and PICU units which require candidates to live outside a 50-mile radius
- RTO limited to a maximum of 10 days (6 days max for RRT positions), with time off added to the end of the contract
- Returning employees must have at least a one-year gap since previous employment
- Returning travelers must have at least a 45-day gap since their previous assignment
- No block scheduling permitted
