Description
American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with 2+ years of experience and ARRT-M certification for a role requiring float coverage across multiple imaging locations.
Details
- Float between three locations: an imaging center, a mobile van, and a breast center
- Schedule is 5x8 hour day shifts, Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Rotating weekend shifts required every other weekend, working Tuesday-Friday 8:30 AM-5 PM and Saturday 8 AM-4:30 PM with Monday off
- Performs diagnostic and screening mammograms including digital mammography
- Uses Hologic 3D mammography equipment
- Works in both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Epic EMR experience required
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist
- ARRT-M and BLS certification required
- California State Mammography Licensure required if applicable, certified by the California Department of Health Services as a Certified Radiologic Technologist
- Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology
- Epic charting system experience required
- Knowledge of universal precautions and core measures

- Performs mammography procedures across multiple facility locations as part of a special procedures team
- Follows universal precautions and core measures in daily practice
- First-time travelers are not preferred for this role
