Description
American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with 2+ years of experience and ARRT certification for a role requiring float coverage across multiple imaging locations.
Details
- Outpatient and inpatient imaging setting within a mammography and breast center
- Must be able to float between three locations including a mobile van and breast center
- 5x8 day shift schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- Standard schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- Rotating weekend shifts required every other weekend, Tuesday through Friday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM with Saturday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM and Monday off
- One Saturday shift required per month
- Performs diagnostic mammograms, screening mammograms, and digital mammography
- Uses Hologic 3D mammography equipment
- Epic EMR experience required
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Mammography Technologist required
- ARRT (M) certification required
- BLS certification required
- CRT certification required
- California State Mammography Licensure required, if applicable
- Certification as a Radiologic Technologist by the California Department of Health Services required
- Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology required
- Epic charting system experience required
- Proficiency in universal precautions and core measures required
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include performing diagnostic and screening mammograms using digital and 3D mammography equipment
- Position involves working across three locations including a mobile imaging van
- Local candidates accepted at local rate within a 50-mile radius
- Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract
- Only one holiday may be requested off per contract
- Holidays include New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day
- First-time travelers will be considered for this position
