Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years experience for an acute care hospital setting requiring ARRT (CT) certification.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting in the CT department
- Utilizes GE VCT 64 slice and GE Revolution 128 slice scanners
- EMR: EPIC, PACS: McKesson
- 3x12 hour day shifts from 0700-1930 with variable weekdays
- Works every third weekend on 12-hour shifts
- On-call requirement of 2-3 times per week
- May float to XR, OR, Endo, and ED as needed
- Holiday coverage required
- Radiation badge provided by facility
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience required
- Current BLS and ARRT (CT) certification required
- License required if applicable
- Xray or CT experience preferred
- Must be flexible, positive, and willing to learn and work in varied environments
- Artificial fingernails are prohibited in all patient care departments
Additional Information
- Perform CT imaging studies and related job duties as assigned
- 1-2 shifts of unit/department specific orientation provided
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility and may not be employed full time, part time, or PRN with any CommonSpirit-affiliated facility, including CHI or Dignity
- Up to 7 days of requested time off allowed per 13-week contract, with no additional RTO approved after submission
- Facility may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment
