Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of CT and X-Ray experience for a 13-week acute care assignment.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting in the CT/X-Ray department
• Department has 2 CT scanners, 2 portable units, and 2 radiology rooms
• Performs general outpatient, in-patient, and emergent imaging studies
• Average of 60 combined CT and X-Ray studies per 24-hour period
• Uses Siemens PACS, Cerner EMR, and Siemens Radiology systems (facility transitioning to Epic)
• Equipment includes Siemens CT scanners, Konica and Fuji portable units, and X-ray equipment
• Day shift schedule, 7 days on / 7 days off (Wed-Tues), 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM
• 34.5 guaranteed hours per week
• Floating limited to within the hospital only
• Weekend and holiday coverage required
• Call/standby requirements apply
• No self-scheduling

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in CT and X-Ray required
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• ARRT (CT) and ARRT (R) certifications required
• License required if applicable
• Must be able to start IVs (training provided if needed)
• Cerner EMR experience preferred

Additional Information

• No in-house radiologist coverage 24/7
• Registered Radiology Assistants are not used in this department
• Department-specific orientation provided
• Black scrub color required per dress code
• First-time travelers may be considered
• Local candidates within 80 miles of the facility are accepted at a reduced rate
• Former permanent staff must have a 6-month separation and facility approval before returning
