Description
American Traveler is hiring a Night Shift RN for an LTAC ICU position requiring 2+ years of ICU experience and a SC or compact RN license.

- LTAC ICU unit within a long-term acute care hospital
- Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00-7:30), 36-48 hours per week
- Uses Epic EMR system
- Floating to other units or campuses required based on census needs, limited to qualified and competency-verified areas
Requirements
- Active RN license (South Carolina or Compact) currently in hand
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a similar unit
- Minimum 1 year of experience with Epic EMR required
- LTAC, teaching hospital, community hospital, and trauma level I/II experience preferred
- Previous charge nurse experience preferred
- Experience with critical care skills including ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, IV drip titration, and arterial/central line care
Additional Information
- Provide critical care nursing to complex ICU patients requiring ventilator support, hemodynamic monitoring, and advanced medication management
- Manage patients with conditions such as ARDS, sepsis, renal failure, GI bleeds, and cardiac events
- Annual compliance orientation held every Monday
- Pre-assignment testing and training modules must be completed within 48 hours of receiving login credentials
- Adheres to infection prevention and isolation precaution protocols
- First-time travelers may be considered with sufficient recent unit experience
