Description
American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with 2+ years of recent nuclear medicine experience and required NMTCB certification for a pediatric hospital setting.
Details
- Pediatric hospital setting in the Nuclear Medicine department
- 5x8 hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- No on-call requirements
- Every other weekend and holiday required, with one guaranteed holiday
- Potential to float between NICU, PICU, and CICU across all patient ages
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent Nuclear Medicine experience required
- Pediatric experience preferred
- Current BLS and NMTCB certification required
- Active state license required at time of consideration; license required if applicable
- IV start skills required
- Experience required with Bone Scan, Brain Scan, Lung Scan, Renal Flow, Thyroid Studies, SPECT, and PET procedures
Additional Information
- Scrubs provided
- Perform a range of nuclear medicine imaging procedures including bone, brain, lung, renal flow, thyroid studies, SPECT, and PET scans
- Accepts local candidates with no mileage restriction at the same bill rate
- Returning travelers must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year
- Maximum RTO of 1 week; full-week RTO requires making up missed shifts or assignment extension
- No RTO permitted after initial offer
- Pre-start training modules must be completed prior to orientation
