Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with 2+ years of experience and ARRT MR certification for a Level III trauma center acute care hospital setting.

Details

• Short-term acute care Level III trauma center with 252 staffed beds, part of Yale New Haven Health System
• Float between facility and an affiliated hospital as needed
• 5x8 evening shifts from 14:15-23:15 with rotating weekends and holidays
• 40 hours per week
• Performs MRI imaging of abdomen, pelvis, head, neck, brain, chest, breast, and spine (cervical, lumbar, thoracic)
• Utilizes special imaging procedures including diffusion imaging, gradient echo imaging, image post-processing, multiplanar reconstruction, and perfusion
• Uses GE and Siemens equipment along with PACS
• EPIC charting system required
• Free parking available

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of MRI experience required in specialty
• ARRT MR certification and BLS required
• State license required if applicable
• EPIC charting experience required
• Community hospital, LTAC, and Trauma Level I experience preferred
• 1 professional reference required
• Flu vaccine required with no declinations accepted
• COVID vaccine and booster required with religious or medical exemptions only

Additional Information

• Adult acute care and outpatient work settings
• Follows isolation precautions and PPE protocols
• Local candidates not accepted unless within 75-mile radius exception applies for certain specialties
• Former staff must be separated from facility for 2 years before returning as a traveler
• Up to 7 days of RTO can be auto-approved
• First-time travelers may be considered
