Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for an evening shift assignment requiring 2+ years of experience, ARRT and BLS certification, and EPIC charting experience.
Details
- Hospital-based CT Tech position within the Radiology/Cardiology department
- Adult acute care and outpatient work settings
- Performs CT scans of abdomen, pelvis, chest, head, and neck with and without contrast
- Utilizes GE, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba CT equipment along with PACS imaging system
- Evening shift, 4x10 hour shifts from 1:00 PM to 11:00 PM
- Schedule includes Sunday through Wednesday with holiday coverage as needed
- No weekend or on-call requirements
- No floating required
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of CT Tech experience required
- Current ARRT (R) and BLS certification required
- License required if applicable
- EPIC charting experience required
- Skilled in preparation and administration of contrast media
- Experience starting peripheral IVs
- Knowledge of isolation precautions and proper PPE use
- Experience with spine and musculoskeletal imaging, including cervical, thoracic, and lumbar regions, and musculoskeletal trauma
- Age-specific competency across neonate through older adult populations
Additional Information
- May provide care to COVID-19 positive patients
- Facility maintains a tobacco and fragrance-free environment
- RTO limited to a maximum of 7 days per contract
- Candidates must complete and pass required competency testing, such as EKG exam, within 72 hours of contract signing if applicable
- Pre-start training modules are required to be completed prior to assignment start
