Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN - Operating Room for a 13-week day shift travel assignment requiring a Maine or compact RN license and 2+ years of experience.

Details

• Surgery center setting on a 13-week travel assignment
• Day shift schedule, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Uses EPIC EMR system
• Floating up to 25 miles between facilities as needed

Requirements

• Active RN license (Maine or Compact) required upon consideration
• AHA-issued certifications required prior to start (non-AHA certifications accepted for initial consideration)
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room RN experience required
• Driver's License required for consideration
• 2 professional references required

Additional Information

• Provide perioperative nursing care in the operating room setting
• Coverage for staff on leave, including maternity and FMLA absences
• Candidates residing within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility will be considered local, with local bill rates applying
• Local travelers are not eligible for contract renewals or extensions
• RTO should be minimal, with 3-4 days considered reasonable for the 13-week contract at manager's discretion
• Candidates who have worked at any MaineHealth facility within the past 12 months must disclose this at the time of consideration
• Air pods, laptops, and cell phone usage are prohibited on the unit
