Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Intermediate Care Unit position requiring at least 1 year of specialty experience and a CO or Compact RN license.

• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
• Uses Epic charting system

Requirements

• Active RcolorAdo, Single State or Compact RN license required
• CO or Compact RN license required
• BLS (AHA) certification required, must not expire prior to start
• ACLS (AHA) certification required, must not expire prior to start
• NIHSS certification required
• TNCC certification preferred
• Minimum 1 year of specialty experience required
• ASN required; BSN preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients
• Perform health teaching and health counseling
• Provide supportive and restorative therapy and treatment directly or through consultation, delegation, or supervision
• Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans
• Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Refer patients as needed for further evaluation or treatment
• Former Intermountain permanent staff must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before eligibility for this travel assignment
• Background check and drug screening required, with drug screen completion expected within 24 hours of assignment commitment
