Description

American Traveler is hiring a PICU RN for a 12-week travel assignment requiring PALS certification and an OH or compact RN license in hand

Details

• Work in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) of a Magnet-designated hospital
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Day shift schedule with 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Float required to a secondary campus location in addition to the main campus
• All travelers may be required to float to competent units
• Epic EMR experience preferred but not required

Requirements

• Active RN license (OH state or Compact) required in hand at time of consideration, no exceptions
• BSN required for consideration at this Magnet facility
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Minimum 1 year of PICU experience required
• 2 years of overall RN experience required
• Skills in respiratory care, ventilated patient care, infection control/PPE, and wound assessment/care
• Trauma Level I or II experience preferred

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing to pediatric patients in the PICU
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
• Prior facility employees may be considered for return as travelers as long as they are not currently active employees
• First-time travelers are not preferred for this assignment
