Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week assignment requiring BLS and ARRT certification.

Details

• Hospital-based CT Scan unit with 2 CT scanners and 2 tables
• Uses GE 1.5T Discovery 450 CT equipment
• Meditech EMR
• 12-hour shifts covering day and night, staffed with 2 CT Techs per shift
• 1:1 patient ratio
• 13-week assignment with shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• No on-call requirement
• Must be willing to work weekends and nights

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CT Tech experience
• BLS and ARRT certification required
• License required if applicable
• ACLS, RT(T), ASRT, and FASRT preferred but not required
• Must be able to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced environment
• No employment gaps of 90+ days within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Perform CT scans, MRIs, body scans, and X-rays to create diagnostic images of bones, organs, and tissues
• Facility is a 229-bed Joint Commission designated top-performing hospital and certified Primary Stroke Center with Blue Distinction Stroke Center recognition
• Scrub color requirement: royal blue or white
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
• Requires strong critical thinking, flexibility, and the ability to work independently
