Description
American Traveler is hiring a Travel CT Technologist for a freestanding ED setting, requiring ARRT CT certification and 1+ year of recent CT experience.
Details
- Work in a freestanding emergency department imaging unit with 3 CT scanners
- 2 techs staffed on overnight shifts
- Equipment includes GE and Siemens CT scanners
- Documentation systems used include Meditech and GE Centricity
- Schedule consists of 4x10 hour night shifts, Mon-Thu 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with no weekends
- May float to the main imaging department as needed
- Standard CT scans only, no invasive CT procedures required for this shift
- Minimal call required and is voluntary
- Supports ER department with turnaround times for stroke and trauma cases
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of CT experience required, with at least 1 year specifically in CT
- ARRT CT certification required
- BLS certification required
- Florida license required if applicable
- GE equipment experience required
- Terra Recon or reformat experience on another platform preferred
- Trauma and stroke experience preferred
- Must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced ER-support environment

- Facility dress code requires solid-colored scrubs; navy and purple are not permitted
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position
