Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel CT Technologist for a freestanding ED setting, requiring ARRT CT certification and 1+ year of recent CT experience.

Details

• Work in a freestanding emergency department imaging unit with 3 CT scanners
• 2 techs staffed on overnight shifts
• Equipment includes GE and Siemens CT scanners
• Documentation systems used include Meditech and GE Centricity
• Schedule consists of 4x10 hour night shifts, Mon-Thu 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with no weekends
• May float to the main imaging department as needed
• Standard CT scans only, no invasive CT procedures required for this shift
• Minimal call required and is voluntary
• Supports ER department with turnaround times for stroke and trauma cases

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CT experience required, with at least 1 year specifically in CT
• ARRT CT certification required
• BLS certification required
• Florida license required if applicable
• GE equipment experience required
• Terra Recon or reformat experience on another platform preferred
• Trauma and stroke experience preferred
• Must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced ER-support environment
