Description
American Traveler is hiring an RN for a high-risk Labor & Delivery position requiring 2+ years of high-risk L&D experience and recent EPIC experience.
Details
- Hospital-based Labor & Delivery unit within a large academic medical center
- High-risk L&D patient population
- 12-hour night shift schedule, 36 hours per week
- Every weekend work required
- Monday through Sunday scheduling flexibility required
- No block schedules permitted
- No floating or charge responsibilities required
Requirements
- Active RN license (VT or Compact) required, or willingness to apply for VT licensure promptly if accepted
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of high-risk L&D experience required
- Experience in a large academic medical center setting required
- EPIC EMR experience within the past 12 months required
- Reliable personal transportation strongly recommended due to limited public transit access
- Vehicle should be equipped with all-season or snow tires during November through April
Additional Information
- Provide direct patient care within a high-risk Labor & Delivery unit
- First-time travelers with solid high-risk L&D experience will be considered
- Bi-weekly orientations held on Mondays
- Candidates should be prepared to start quickly, within the next week of posting
