Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist requiring 2+ years of experience and current CT registry for a Virginia hospital assignment.

Details

• CT Scan department located on the main hospital's first floor
• Unit operates 2 scanners (GE and Phillips)
• Staffing includes day, evening, night, and weekend 12-hour shifts
• Approximately 80-100 scans performed per day
• Procedures include ABD/PEL, biopsies, heads, spines, brains, chest, and CTAs
• Uses GE and Phillips equipment with Meditech and GE Centricity PACS for EMR
• Schedule runs Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
• No floating required
• Weekend on-call rotation of 24 hours

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of current CT experience required
• CT registry required
• ARRT-CT certification required
• Active Virginia state license required if applicable
• Proficiency with GE or Phillips equipment preferred
• Strong multitasking skills and ability to adapt to change
• Team-oriented personality with flexibility in fast-paced environment

Additional Information

• Perform a variety of CT scans including abdominal/pelvic, head, spine, brain, chest, and CTA studies
• Navy scrub color required per facility dress code
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; no local candidates accepted
• No exceptions made to the radius rule
