Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Pediatric Cardiology Clinic position requiring current MD or compact RN licensure and 2 years of strong Pediatric Med Surg experience.
Details
- Work in the Pediatric Cardiology Clinic located on the Main Level of the Bloomberg Children's Center
- Specialty clinic setting focused on Pediatric Cardiology and Congenital Heart Care
- Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- No weekends, no call, and no holiday coverage required
- Preferred experience with EPIC EMR system
Requirements
- Active MD or compact RN license required
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of current, strong Pediatric Med Surg experience required
- Preferred experience with EPIC EMR
- Preferred experience in Pediatric Cardiology
- Experience in a comparable facility size (500+ bed count) preferred
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include medication review, patient education, and reviewing after-visit summaries
- Manage the EPIC in-basket and support Certified Medical Assistants with clinical concerns
- Coordinate and clinically manage patient and caregiver care, including prescription refills and triaging calls
- Perform medication reconciliation and review patient charts
- Collaborate with other disciplines including pharmacy, social work, and nutrition
- Local candidates accepted at the same rate
