Description

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT) with 2+ years of experience for a night shift position at a leading healthcare facility.

Details

• Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics department setting
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30
• 13-week assignment length, with options for 8 or 12 week durations
• Weekend shifts required as needed
• May float to other facility locations as needed

Requirements

• CRT or RRT certification accepted
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist required
• NBRC certification required, active and in hand at time of consideration
• BLS certification required, active and in hand at time of consideration
• Ohio RRT license required if applicable
• Two professional references from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director within the specialty, from assignments worked in the past 12 months
• Negative 10-panel drug screen plus nicotine (cotinine) test required within 12 months of start and updated annually

Additional Information

• Smoke-free and nicotine-free facility with no exceptions for tobacco or nicotine use
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to this healthcare system for 1 year from their previous end date
• Extensions may be granted for up to 18 months, after which a 6-month break is required before returning to this healthcare system
• Background check results will be reviewed by the facility, and any license-related issues will not be accepted
• BCI/FBI fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
