Description

American Traveler is hiring a Resource RN with ER and Med/Surg experience for a 13-week night shift assignment at a critical access hospital.

Details

• Resource position covering both Emergency Department and Med/Surg units based on facility need
• Acute care setting within a Critical Access Hospital (CAH)
• Med/Surg nurse-to-patient ratio typically 1:3-1:4, occasionally up to 1:5 depending on census
• Two nurses staffed on the unit at all times
• Night shift schedule with 12-hour shifts, working every Sunday-Tuesday
• Full-time schedule with 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Uses Cerner EMR

Requirements

• Active RN license
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
• ER and Med/Surg clinical experience required

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care across both ED and Med/Surg units as needed
• Orientation typically consists of 1-2 shifts depending on traveler comfort level
• Extension likely offered for travelers who are a good fit
