Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an ICU (Neuro Critical Care) position requiring 1-2 years of acute care experience and BLS/NIHSS certifications.

Details

• 295-bed acute care hospital setting in the Neuro Critical Care unit
• Day shift schedule, 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Patient ratios of 4:1 on day shift and 5:1 on night shift
• Uses Meditech EHR system
• Every other weekend required
• No call requirements
• May be required to float within a 25 mile radius of the facility

Requirements

• Active RN license (KY or Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• 1-2 years of experience in an acute care facility required

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing services within a neuro critical care unit
• Facility offers cardiac care and an advanced neurosurgery program with Spine Center accreditation
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for the travel rate
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on this assignment
