Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Neuro Critical Care ICU position requiring 1-2 years of acute care experience and night shift availability.

Details

• Work in the Neuro Critical Care ICU of a 295-bed acute care hospital
• Night shift schedule from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• May be required to float within a 25 mile radius of the facility
• Patient ratios of 4:1 on day shift and 5:1 on night shift
• Uses Meditech EHR system
• 13-week assignment

Requirements

• Active RN license (Kentucky or Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• 1-2 years of acute care experience required
• AHA certifications required

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing services within a neurosurgery program accredited as a Spine Center
• Facility offers cardiac care and advanced neurosurgery services
• Weekly orientation held on Mondays
• Must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to qualify for the travel rate
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment
