Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring 3-5 years of experience and prior travel assignment experience.

Details

• Work in the Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology unit on the 2nd floor of a Level 3 Trauma, Level 1 Cardiac, and Level 2 Stroke facility
• Specializes in Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology with Neuro cases
• 2-room lab with 1:1 patient ratios
• Common procedures include cardiac diagnostics, STEMI, device implants, angiogram, runoff, stroke treatment, cerebral procedures, AAA, and TCAR
• Uses Philips Xper equipment
• Meditech EHR system
• 4x10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• 40 guaranteed weekly hours
• Every other weekend required, on-call/call-back only
• 10 call shifts per month required
• No floating required

Requirements

• Active RN license (State or Compact) required
• BLS and other AHA certifications required
• 3-5 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience required
• IR Cath Lab experience with Neuro and Stroke cases preferred
• Prior travel assignment experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
• Must be able to work independently with minimal onboarding in a high-acuity rural lab setting

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity cardiac and interventional radiology setting
• Facility is recognized as a Platinum Chest Pain Center and heavy IR lab providing stroke treatment
• Must wear hospital-issued scrubs only; no other attire permitted
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel rate
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months will not be considered
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment
