Description

American Traveler is hiring a school-based Occupational Therapist for a 13-week assignment in Redding, CA, ideal for new grads and experienced clinicians with a valid CA OT license.

Details

  • School-based occupational therapy assignment serving pediatric and school-aged clients
  • Therapist will visit multiple school sites across Trinity and Shasta counties, based out of the Redding office
  • Day shift schedule, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (8-hour shifts)
  • Expected 40 hours per week
  • 13-week assignment with potential to extend through the full school year
  • Mileage and travel time reimbursed

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Current California Occupational Therapy license required (license required if applicable)
  • Valid Driver's License required
  • New graduates accepted, no prior experience required
  • BLS certification required
  • NBCOT certification preferred
  • Experience with pediatric populations, autism, cerebral palsy, sensory integration, and handwriting programs preferred

Additional Information

  • Responsibilities include schedule planning, evaluations, and treatment program design and implementation
  • Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
  • Time off requests must be finalized prior to starting the assignment
  • Facility prefers a therapist available for the entire school year if possible
