Description
American Traveler is hiring a PACU RN for a 36-hour Monday-Thursday night shift assignment requiring an active MA RN license and prior academic medical center experience.
Details
- Work in the PACU (Post-Anesthesia Care Unit) of a hospital setting
- 36-hour work week, Monday through Thursday, nights only
- Shift hours are 19:00-07:30
- 13-week assignment length
- Uses Epic charting system
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required; conditional or pending licenses not accepted
- BLS certification required (AHA preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of RN experience required
- Minimum 1 year of travel PACU experience required
- Minimum 1 year of Academic Medical Center experience required
- Primary source verification of license/certification required within 30 days of start date
Additional Information
- Provide perioperative nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia in the PACU
- Flu vaccination required during flu season with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
- Local candidates must reside within 60 miles of the facility, with a reduced rate applying
