Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with 2+ years experience in coronary and peripheral interventional procedures for an acute care hospital setting.

Details

• Acute care hospital cardiac cath lab setting
• Daily caseload of 8-12 cases
• Procedures include coronary diagnostic and interventional cases, peripheral vascular diagnostic and interventional cases, and permanent pacemaker insertions
• Uses Epic for charting
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• No weekend requirement
• Call requirement applies
• No floating requirement for this specific unit, though floating between sister facilities may be expected
• 30 hours of orientation provided

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience required
• ARRT-R, BLS, and ACLS certifications required
• Fluoroscopy Permit required; candidates with a pending permit application will be considered
• License required if applicable
• CCI RCIS certification preferred, or acceptable with 5+ years of experience
• Epic experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Skilled in procedures such as angioplasty, stent placement, hemodynamic monitoring, left and right heart catheterization, PCI, PTCA, and pacemaker insertion
• Experience with equipment set up and maintaining a sterile field

• Local candidates accepted
• Candidates residing within 50 miles are considered local and may be offered a lower bill rate
• Returning former staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a travel employee
• RTO requests must be submitted and approved at the time of submission; minimal RTO requests are preferred
• Candidates must be willing to commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays
• Free parking available on the first day, with assignment parking details provided during orientation
