Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiac Telemetry unit position requiring a KS or compact RN license and at least 1 year of recent telemetry experience.

Details

• Work in the Cardiac Telemetry Unit (4N) of a hospital setting
• 12-hour night shifts, 1900-0730, three days per week
• Uses Epic EMR
• Every other weekend rotation required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating required to all acute care units
• Scheduled to work Labor Day based on unit needs

Requirements

• Active KS or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry experience required
• 2-5 years of Telemetry experience preferred
• Experience with TR Bands immediately post-procedure required
• Experience with cardiac drips (Heparin, Butamax, Lasix, Cardizem) required
• Experience with Tikosyn/Sotalol initiation process required
• New graduates will not be considered for this position
