Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical/Surgical position on an Acute Neuro Unit, requiring recent specialty experience and NIH Stroke Scale certification.
Details
- Work in the Acute Neuro Unit of a hospital setting
- 13-week contract assignment
- 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week
- Schedule varies between 7A-7:30P
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- No on-call requirements
Requirements
- Active RN license (GA or Compact) currently in hand
- Current certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the Med/Surg specialty required
Additional Information
- Provide medical/surgical nursing care to neurological patients on an acute care unit
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered for this position
- Returning perm staff must have a 2-year break before returning as a non-local traveler
- Requested time off must be submitted upfront prior to accepting an offer, as post-offer requests cannot be accommodated
