Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg RN for an Acute Neuro Unit position requiring recent specialty experience and NIH Stroke Scale certification.
Details
- Acute Neuro Unit (612F) Med/Surg setting
- 12-hour night shifts, varying between 7p-7:30a
- 3 shifts per week for a total of 36 guaranteed weekly hours
- No on-call requirements
Requirements
- Active RN license (GA state license or compact)
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in the specialty required
- Current AHA BLS certification required
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
- AHA ACLS certification preferred
Additional Information
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered
- Must be willing to work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
- Former permanent staff must have a 2-year break in service before returning as a traveler
- RTO must be requested prior to offer and cannot be requested afterward
