Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 24-hour department requiring 2+ years of CT experience and BLS/ARRT certification.
Details
- 24-hour CT department with 3 Siemens scanners (Edge Plus, Definition AS, Force)
- Average of 130 exams per day during the week and 80 exams per day on weekends
- Schedule includes both inpatient and outpatient exams
- Uses Bayer Medrad Contrast Injector and Cerner EMR
- Procedures include Angio Coronary, various biopsy procedures, abscess drains, pre-Watchman protocols, and ablation protocols
- 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week, Friday/Saturday/Sunday weekend schedule from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in CT
- Current BLS and ARRT certification required
- License required if applicable
- Experience with Cerner EMR
Additional Information
- Must work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
- Does not accept local candidates within 50 miles of the facility
- Returning staff who previously worked permanently at the facility must have a 2-year break before returning as a traveler
- RTO must be requested upfront and cannot be requested after an offer is made
