Description
American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse for a GI Lab position requiring at least 2 years of recent GI/pulmonary interventional experience and a GA or compact RN license.
Details
- Work in the GI Lab of a hospital setting
- Perform a variety of GI and pulmonary interventional procedures including colonoscopies, EGD, bronchoscopies, feeding tube placement, ERCP, EBUS, GI bleeds, flex sig, foreign body retrieval, navigation bronch, variceal banding, Bravo manometry, and capsule endoscopy
- Schedule is Monday-Friday 0630-1700 with 4x10hr shifts
- 13-week contract assignment
- On-call required during the week and weekend
Requirements
- Active GA or compact RN license required
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in GI/Endoscopy specialty required
Additional Information
- Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve)
- Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered
- Returning perm staff must have a 2-year break before returning as a non-local traveler
- RTO must be requested upfront and cannot be requested after an offer is made
