Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring 2+ years of recent CT experience and ARRT-CT certification.
Details
- Level 2 trauma center CT Scan department
- Utilizes Siemens scanners
- Performs trauma stroke, cardiovascular, procedural, and routine CT exams
- Serves emergency, inpatient, and outpatient patients
- Patient population includes neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
- 10-hour night shifts, 4 shifts per week (M-Th 9p-7:30a)
- 13-week contract length
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience in CT specialty
- AHA BLS certification required
- ARRT-CT certification required
- License required if applicable
- Proficiency in trauma, stroke, cardiovascular, procedural, and routine CT exams
- Experience operating computerized tomography equipment across diverse patient age groups
Additional Information
- Operates CT equipment to produce diagnostic imaging for a wide range of patient types and clinical needs
- Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
- Does not accept local candidates within 50 miles of the facility
- Returning perm staff applying as travelers must have a 2-year break before returning as non-local travelers
- RTO must be requested upfront prior to offer acceptance and cannot be requested afterward
