Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Emergency Dept position requiring 2+ years of full-time ER/Critical Care experience and TNCC certification.

Details

• Hospital-based Emergency Department setting
• 13-week assignment
• Day shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts, variable starts at 7am, 9am, or 12pm
• 36 hours per week
• Blocked scheduling not permitted
• No floating to affiliate hospitals required

Requirements

• Active RN license (NM or Compact) required in hand before start
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NRP
• Preferred certifications: ENPC and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of full-time ER and/or Critical Care experience required (PRN experience not accepted)
• Charge nurse experience preferred
• Conscious sedation and vent skills preferred
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Proof of COVID vaccination required

Additional Information

• Provide emergency and critical care nursing services to ER patients
• Facility can assist with obtaining needed certifications
• Must reside within 75 miles of the facility
• Local candidates not accepted
• Returning travelers welcome if it has been 6+ months since their last assignment at this facility
• Zero tolerance policy for marijuana use; a positive THC test will result in automatic contract cancellation
• First-time travelers not accepted for this position
• RTO must be requested and approved at time of submission
