Description
American Traveler is hiring a Travel Ultrasound Technologist with 2+ years experience and ARDMS certification for a 13-week assignment supporting outpatient, mammography, ER, and OR cases.
Details
- Radiology department setting supporting outpatient, mammography, ER, and OR ultrasound cases
- Approximately 185-bed hospital unit staffed with 4 full-time and 2 PRN techs
- Patient ratio of 1:1
- Uses GE Logiq ultrasound equipment
- EMR/PACS systems include Epic and McKesson PACS
- 13-week travel assignment with Friday, Saturday, Sunday shifts from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM
- Procedures performed include pelvic, OB, scrotal, breast, abdomen, para/thoracentesis, biopsies, arterial, and venous studies
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
- ARDMS certification required
- BLS certification required
- Abdominal, OB, and RVT certifications preferred
- Experience with pelvic, OB, scrotal, breast, abdomen, para/thoracentesis, biopsy, arterial, and venous ultrasound procedures
- License required if applicable
- US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
- Professional reference required (two references required for Florida and Missouri)
- No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Ideal candidate is a self-starter who is patient-focused, detail-oriented, and produces high-quality imaging
- Grey or pewter scrub color required
- Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
- First-time travelers may be considered
