Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Scan Technologist with 2+ years of experience and current ARRT/CT license required for a 13-week travel assignment.
Details
- Hospital-based CT Scanner unit serving inpatient and outpatient populations
- Performs routine diagnostic CT procedures including head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, and extremities
- Conducts biopsy and drainage procedures under Radiologist direction
- Shift schedule from 11:00 AM to 11:30 PM, Friday through Sunday
- 13-week assignment length
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited AMA radiologic technology program
- Current ARRT registration required
- State general radiographer license required
- CT license required, if applicable
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of recent CT Tech experience required
- Certifications must not expire within first 30 days of assignment start
- Proficiency in CT scanning with and without contrast media required
- Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and CT system processing required
- Experience with surgical/sterile procedures required
Additional Information
- Provides timely diagnostic imaging services under departmental protocols and Radiologist supervision
- Candidates must not have gaps in work history totaling 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- RTO requests must be less than 1 week
- Local candidates within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered
- Previous CHS perm staff employees are not eligible if employed within the last 2 years
