Description

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 2+ years of adult critical care experience for a night shift position requiring NBRC RRT credentials.

Details

• Community hospital setting within the Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics unit
• Provides adult critical care and emergency department respiratory services
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 18:30 to 07:00
• Weekend work required
• No on-call requirements
• May float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals
• Black scrubs required for this unit

Requirements

• NBRC RRT credentials required
• License to practice in Ohio required if applicable
• BLS and NRP certifications required
• ACLS and PALS certifications preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Skilled in airway management, bronchoscopy assisting, and ventilator management
• Experience with BiPAP and CPAP management required
• Proficient in ABG sampling and interpretation
• Competent in all modalities of respiratory care

Additional Information

• Limited holiday RTO policy allows only one day of requested time off surrounding a single holiday
• Local candidates within 50 miles of the facility will be considered for local rates
• Candidates may float to affiliate hospitals near the primary facility as needed
