Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN Circulator for an Operating Room position requiring EPIC EMR experience and a wide range of OR specialty background.

Details

• Work in the Operating Room department of a hospital setting as a Circulator RN
• Handles a wide range of OR specialties including General OR, Neurology, Orthopedic, and Ortho/Spine procedures
• Performs cases such as laminectomy/discectomy, lumbar fusion, and total joint replacement
• Day shift schedule of 4x10 hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM, with one weekday off
• Call responsibilities required for this position
• Floating to other units or campuses may be required based on census needs, limited to units where competency has been demonstrated

Requirements

• Active RN license (SC or Compact) required
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Minimum 2 years of recent OR RN experience required
• Minimum 1 year of experience with EPIC EMR required
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred, though seasoned travelers are prioritized
• Experience across multiple OR specialties required

Additional Information

• Serves as Circulator RN supporting a variety of OR surgical specialties
• Orientation occurs every Monday, along with annual compliance training requirements
• Pre-assignment testing and compliance modules must be completed within 48 hours of receiving login credentials
• Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from any facility within the health system to be eligible, with certain OR-specific mileage exceptions relative to flagship campuses
• First-time travelers may be considered, though experienced travelers are preferred
