Description
American Traveler is hiring a night shift ICU RN requiring 2 years of specialty experience and an active IL RN license.
Details
- Work in a 14-bed Intensive Care Unit
- Night shift schedule
- 10-hour shifts
- No on-call responsibilities
Requirements
- Active IL RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of ICU specialty experience required
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility with a verifiable permanent address

The pay was good and the staff was reasonably supportive.
Cons
The paperwork was sometimes byzantine. They use a version of Epic that is customized to the facility. Someone is always looking over your shoulder and evaluating your fitness for the job. You have to rock that charting!
