Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a 13-week night shift assignment in Mayfield, KY, requiring an active KY or compact RN license and 1+ years of experience.

Details

• Work on a 57-bed Medical-Surgical Combination unit spanning the 3rd and 4th floors of an acute care hospital
• Serves an all-ages patient population with common diagnoses including COPD, post-op joint replacements, and diabetes
• Patient ratio up to 1:6 with PCA assistance
• Uses MediTech EMR
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• On-call as needed
• Possible floating to like units as needed
• 13-week assignment

Requirements

• Active RN license (KY or Compact) required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and CPI/HWC/MAB
• 1+ years of RN experience required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care on a busy Med/Surg unit, delivering compassionate, kind, and caring service to a diverse patient population
• Report to the Med Surg Director
• Any scrub color is acceptable, but branded attire from other facilities is not permitted
• Local candidates within 60 miles of the facility are eligible only at the local rate; candidates must live 60+ miles away to qualify for the travel rate
• Candidates who worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full-time while on this assignment
