Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU position requiring arterial line experience and rotating day/night shifts.
Details
- Work in a Cardiovascular ICU setting
- Patient population includes post-surgical and critically ill patients requiring advanced hemodynamic monitoring
- Care for ventilated patients on pressors, inotropes, and vasoactive medications
- Manage lines, tubes, and drains for post-surgical patients
- Rotating day/night shift schedule
Requirements
- Active RN license (NH or Compact) currently in hand
- Current certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA only)
- Arterial line experience required
- Recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma experience within the last 2 years required
- Preferred experience with ICP monitoring (SICU/NCCU)
- Preferred experience assisting with line insertion and maintenance
- Preferred experience with ventriculostomies, lumbar drains, bolts, and EVD (SICU/NCCU/PICU)
- Preferred experience with PA lines and waveform interpretation (CVCC)
Additional Information
- Provide critical care nursing to patients requiring advanced hemodynamic monitoring and vasoactive medication management
- Assist with insertion and maintenance of invasive lines and drains
- Local candidates are not accepted due to a 75-mile radius rule
- Two professional references from managers required for consideration
