Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring 3-5 years of experience and prior travel assignment history.

Details

• Cardiac Cath Lab specializing in Interventional Radiology with Neuro and Stroke cases
• Level 3 Trauma, Level 1 Cardiac, and Level 2 Stroke facility
• 2-room lab with 1:1 patient ratios
• Uses Philips Xper equipment and Meditech EHR
• 4x10-hour shift schedule, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
• Every other weekend required, with on-call/call-back coverage only on weekends
• 10 call shifts per month required
• No floating required

Requirements

• Active RN license (State or Compact) required
• AHA certifications required
• 3-5 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience required
• IR Cath Lab experience with Neuro and Stroke treatment preferred
• Must have prior travel assignment experience; first-time travelers will not be considered
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform cardiac diagnostic procedures, STEMI interventions, and device implants
• Perform interventional radiology procedures including angiograms, runoffs, stroke treatment, cerebral procedures, AAA, and TCAR
• Rural lab setting with high acuity patients requiring minimal onboarding time
• Must wear hospital-issued scrubs only; no other attire permitted
• Weekly orientation offered
• Candidates must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel rate
• Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Cannot be employed elsewhere full-time
