Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring 3-5 years of experience and prior travel assignment history.

• ,ial withIcal Levelation with Level 3 Trauma, level 1 Cardiac, and level 2 Stroke facility 2-room Cath Lab
• handardiac Cath Lab and Interventential Radiology with neuro cases including stroke treatment
• Common procedures include cardiac diagnostic studies, STEMIs, device implants, angiograms, runoff studies, cerebral procedures, AAA, and TCAR
• Uses Philips Xper equipment
• Charting completed in Meditech EHR
• 1:1 patient ratios
• Schedule consists of four 10-hour shifts weekly
• Weekend coverage limited to on-call/call-back only
• On-call requirement of 10 call shifts per month
• No floating required

Requirements

• Active RN license (State or Compact) required
• 3-5 years of Cardiac Cath Lab experience required
• Interventional Radiology experience preferred, including neuro and stroke case experience
• AHA certifications required
• Must have prior travel assignment experience

Additional Information

• Work in a high-acuity, rural cath lab setting requiring the ability to quickly acclimate with minimal onboarding
• Weekly orientation provided
• Must wear hospital-issued scrubs only
• Every other weekend schedule
• Candidates must reside 60 miles or greater from the facility to be considered for travel rate
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this role
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full-time while on assignment
