Description

American Traveler is hiring a night shift RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry unit requiring an active AR or compact RN license and 1-2 years of recent acute care experience.

Details

• Work in the Medical Surgical Combination unit of a 170-bed acute care hospital
• Med/Surg Telemetry specialty caring for adult and geriatric patients
• Patient ratios of 6-7:1 on the med/surg floor
• Uses Meditech EHR
• Night shift schedule from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required at minimum
• Occasional low census call-off may apply, though typically regular staff are placed on call first
• Floating required to all med/surg floors
• 13-week assignment

Requirements

• Active RN license (Arkansas or Compact) currently in hand
• Current CPR certification (AHA)
• 1-2+ years of recent acute care experience required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide medical-surgical and telemetry nursing care to adult and geriatric patients
• Facility is a Joint Commission Accredited, Accredited Chest Pain Center with an AHA Stroke Program Award
• Hospital offers services including lab, radiology, respiratory, ED, cardiology, ENT, lung care, gastro, general surgery, inpatient rehab, and endoscopy
• Located in Russellville, AR, near the Ozarks and Lake Dardanelle
• Must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be considered for the travel position
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the past 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates may not be employed elsewhere full-time while on assignment
