Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Invasive Cardiovascular Technologist for a Cath Lab position requiring RCIS certification and Epic EMR experience.
Details
- Work in the Cath Lab department of a hospital setting
- Performs diagnostic examinations during invasive cardiology, noninvasive cardiology, and/or peripheral vascular study procedures
- Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
- Call commitment includes 1 week night and 1 weekend per month
- Rotating holiday coverage required
Requirements
- Active NY RN license required
- Certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) required
- Minimum of an Associate Degree, or graduate of an approved Cardiovascular Training Program, or graduate from an accredited Allied Health Program
- At least 2 years of recent experience in the cardiovascular specialty required
- Current certifications required: BLS, PALS, and ACLS
- Certifications must be from AHA or RQI
- Epic EMR experience required
- No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Obtain subjective data from patients to support accurate anatomical and physiological diagnosis
- Local candidates residing within a 50-mile radius are not eligible, including those in Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, and Washington counties
- Facility only accepts medical flu vaccine exemptions signed by a licensed professional; personal or religious exemptions are not accepted
