Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a Day Shift role requiring ARRT certification in Radiography and CT, with local candidates welcomed at the same rate as travel candidates.
Details
- CT Scan unit in a hospital setting
- Performs CT imaging along with general radiography and fluoroscopy procedures
- Patient population ranges from adolescent through geriatric
- Day Shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
- Uses PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images
Requirements
- ARRT registration required: R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) or R.T. (R)(ARRT) with Advanced Certification in CT
- BLS certification required from an approved vendor
- Fluoroscopy license required if applicable
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred
- Venipuncture certification preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in CT within the last 3 months
- Cerner and/or Epic experience must be noted if applicable
Additional Information
- Produces sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation
- Maintains accurate records, files, and billing information while adhering to HIPAA guidelines
- Performs routine maintenance, calibration of equipment, and manages supply inventory
- Located in a scenic Columbia River Gorge community
- Accepts local candidates at the same rate as travel candidates
- Candidates with more than 5 days of requested time off will not be considered
- Candidates with a prior adverse licensure action will not be considered
