Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a CO or Compact RN license, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications.
Details
- Hospital-based Emergency Department setting
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 1945-0615
- 36 hours per week
- Weekend shifts required
- May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
- May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
- Uses Epic EMR for charting
Requirements
- Active CO or Compact RN license required
- Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience required
- ASN required; BSN preferred
- Current AHA certifications required, not expiring prior to start date: BLS, ACLS, PALS
- TNCC certification required
- NIHSS certification required
- ENPC certification preferred
- Epic EMR charting experience preferred
Additional Information
- Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient nursing care
- Provide health teaching, counseling, and therapeutic treatment to patients
- Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
- Refer patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed
- Monitor and review therapy and treatment plans
- Returning employees must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
