Description
American Traveler is hiring a Labor and Delivery RN for a night shift hospital position requiring a CO or compact RN license and at least 1 year of L&D experience.
Details
- ,Hospital-based Labor and Delivery unit
- Night shift, 12-hour shifts
- 36 hours per week over 3 days per week
- May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
- May be required to take on-call during a regularly scheduled shift
- Uses Epic charting system
Requirements
- Active RN license (CO state or compact) required
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association required, must not expire prior to start
- ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications as appropriate for the unit
- ASN required, BSN preferred
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery required
- 2+ years of RN experience, travel experience, and extensive L&D experience preferred
- DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
- Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions per state Board of Nursing standards
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for L&D patients
- Provide health teaching, counseling, and supportive/restorative therapy to patients
- Document care in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
- Promote the mission, vision, and values of the health system
- Returning employees must be separated from any facility within this health system for at least one year before being eligible for a new travel assignment
