Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel Radiology Technologist for a night shift role requiring Indiana licensure and at least 1 year of CT experience.

Details

• >Hospital-based Radiology Diagnostics department in a 40-bed facility with 10 swing beds
• Provides diagnostic radiography services to ED, outpatient, and inpatient units
• Sole Radiologic Technologist in-house for most of the shift, performing ER and inpatient diagnostic x-ray
• Monthly department volume of approximately 439 studies
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• 4x10-hour night shifts, 8 PM-6 AM, Monday-Thursday (shift times negotiable)
• Every 5th weekend requires a 6 AM-6 PM day shift, with adjacent weeknights reduced to 3 shifts of 28 hours
• No on-call requirements
• No floating required
• Block scheduling not available

Requirements

• Active Indiana Radiologic Technologist license required (if applicable)
• ARRT certification, R.T.(R)
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of recent CT experience with demonstrated CT competencies
• Must be able to work independently as the sole technologist for most shifts
• Must be able to assist with patient transport for imaging as needed

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include performing ordered imaging exams, transporting patients as needed, processing appropriate charges, and completing exams promptly for radiologist review
• Caribbean blue scrubs required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates will not be considered
• First-time travelers may be considered for this role
• RTO requests should be limited to less than one week
• Candidates with employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months will not be considered
• Travelers who worked as permanent staff at this healthcare system within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
