Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU position requiring a WI or compact RN license and 2 years of ICU experience, with flexibility to float within skill set.
Details
- Work in the Intensive Care Unit of a hospital setting
- 13-week contract assignment
- Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30 with every other weekend and every other holiday required
- May float to Neuro ICU and Burn ICU within skill set
- May receive patient assignments in Med/Surg/IMC if needed
- May be required to float onsite or to sites within 40 miles if needed
- Uses Epic EMR
Requirements
- Active RN license (WI or Compact) currently in hand
- Current certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA)
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
- CVICU and Neuro ICU experience preferred but not required
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred
- Epic EMR experience required
- Current license and primary source verification (Nursys) required within 30 days prior to start
Additional Information
- Provide critical care nursing to ICU patients with flexibility to support additional units based on skill set
- Radius rule applies which may affect pay rate for local candidates
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- COVID vaccination is not required
