Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a GI/Endoscopy position requiring endoscopy experience and ACLS certification.
Details
- Work in a 12-bed Endoscopy unit within a hospital setting
- Day shift team includes 1 charge RN, 3-4 RNs, and 2-3 techs
- Patient ratio of 1:4
- Uses ERBE intraoperative equipment
- Meditech Expanse EMR used, experience preferred but not required
- Procedures performed include EGD, ERCP, colonoscopy, and bronchoscopy
- Shift schedule is 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
- No floating required
- Required to work approximately 1 weekend per month and 1 night per week, except on assigned call weekends
Requirements
- Active RN license (NH or compact) required
- Current ACLS certification required
- Endoscopy experience required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Candidates should demonstrate a flexible and positive personality fit for the unit
- Scrubs may be provided or self-supplied, with no specific color assignment
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for consideration
