Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) for a night shift hospital position requiring at least 2 years of specialty experience.

Details

• Work in a hospital Respiratory Therapy/Neuro Diagnostics unit
• Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 18:45 to 07:15
• Weekend coverage required every other weekend
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• No call-in requirements for this position

Requirements

• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• CRT or RRT certification required
• State license required if applicable
• Compact or Louisiana license required in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty required
• Experienced Respiratory Therapist required, new graduates not accepted

Additional Information

• May be assigned to an Emergency Team during declared emergency events, which could require staying at the facility until relief arrives
• First-time travelers will be considered as long as they have prior RT experience
• Orientation is held five days a week
• Candidates must live more than 65 miles from the facility to be eligible as this facility does not accept local travelers
• RTO must be included on the candidate profile and discussed during the interview process
• Candidates who previously worked as permanent staff or in-house agency contractors at this facility must have a full year separation before returning as a travel employee
