Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring 2+ years of OR experience and Epic proficiency.
Details
- Surgical Services department in a 495-bed hospital
- Specialty experience needed in Robotics, General, Trauma, Ortho, Vascular, Gyn, Urology, Bariatrics, and Thoracic surgeries
- 4x10 day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 6:45 AM to 5:15 PM
- 36 weekly guaranteed hours
- On-call requirement of 6-8 calls per month, which may include weekends
- No floating required
- Uses Epic EMR
Requirements
- Active RN license (VA State or Compact)
- BLS and ACLS certification from AHA only
- Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of assignment start
- 2+ years of recent OR experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- US SSN required for consideration
Additional Information
- Perform circulating and scrub duties across a wide range of surgical specialties
- Blue scrub color required per facility dress code policy
- Must reside outside a 65-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for the travel rate
- No local candidates accepted
